Two concerts and masterclasses at the Bernaolo Festival organized at the Conservatoire of Vitoria. Programs include “Woulda Coulda Shoulda” by Fred Frith and “no 19″ by Jane O’Leary, both for solo viola and “The World in which we believe” by Ignacio Monterubio for prepared viola, electronics and dancer (Zuriñe Benavente). Performances of “La Mort de Tintagiles” by Maurice Maeterlink, mise en scène by Denis Podalydes. Co-creation of the music with Christophe Coin, baryton et violoncelle d’amour and Garth Knox, viola d’amore, alto d’amour et Nykelharpa. The play will be recorded as a radiophonique production for France Culture.

Live performance of the premiere of restored version of “The Informer” a silent film directed by Arthur Robison in 1929, with a new original score by Garth Knox, commissioned by the BFI. Scored for viola (doubling viola d’amore), flute (doubling alto flute and whistle), accordion, double bass, percussion and Uilleann pipes. A DVD will be available in March 2017.
