Since 2013, Garth Knox is International Viola Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. He has a class for post graduate students called the “Manchester Creative Viola Studio” where students are encouraged to explore new repertoire in all styles and to explore all the creative possibilities of string playing. Spring Course in Essen
From 23rd to 28th March 2014, Garth will be teaching in the ViolaModern course in Essen, near Cologne, Germany. Classes open to all, with an emphasis on new music and an accent on enjoyment, exploration and creativity. Possibility of improvisation classes, overtone singing, ensemble playing.
